OK OMG I kinda totally *LOVE* this song (I mean, just check that line about the Grinch!). I saw Jason play this about 2 years ago, at this nice guy Nick's apartment in Ames, Iowa, with my friends Kathryn and Sean. I've always remembered it since and was really excited when I found this video of him singing it at a show last month in Ft. Myers, Florida. It hasn't been on any records yet. P.S. "Nick's Place" has since been renamed "the practice space," and, if you're ever passing through central Iowa, they have a MySpace page here. They (Nick and his girlfriend, I think) actually manage to book a lot of really great bands, and it's a really nice, welcoming show space. |
